LATAM Airlines is the largest airline group in Latin America, formed from the merger of Chile's LAN Airlines and Brazil's TAM, and it operates an extensive network across South America along with routes to North America, Europe, and Oceania. It is a member of the oneworld alliance, which lets its LATAM Pass loyalty program interact with partners like American Airlines. LATAM has no U.S. co-brand credit card, so flyers should rely on a general travel or airline-category rewards card, or transferable points from a flexible travel card, to offset fares booked directly with LATAM.
