Allegiant Air is a Las Vegas-based ultra-low-cost carrier that connects small and mid-sized US cities to leisure destinations like Las Vegas, Orlando-Sanford, Phoenix-Mesa, and Florida Gulf Coast airports, flying point-to-point on a fleet of Airbus A319/A320 aircraft. Like other ULCCs, Allegiant unbundles fares: bags, seat assignments, and printed boarding passes are all add-ons. Allegiant purchases code as airlines/airfare on every card network. Travel cards with airfare bonuses (Amex Gold 3x on flights booked direct, Chase Sapphire Reserve 4x, Capital One Venture X 2x) all earn their full rate on Allegiant tickets and ancillary fees.
