ITA Airways is Italy's flag carrier, formed in 2021 to take over international and domestic routes previously flown by Alitalia, operating out of Rome Fiumicino with service to destinations across Europe, North America, South America, and Asia. There is no ITA Airways co-brand credit card issued in the U.S., so booking a flight is best done with a general travel rewards card that earns bonus points on airfare, or a premium travel card if you want airport lounge access and trip protections on an international itinerary.
