Citgo operates roughly 4,200 branded gas stations across the United States, owned by Venezuelan state oil company PDVSA. Fuel at Citgo pumps codes as gas for credit card networks, so any gas category bonus card will earn its full rate. The Citgo Rewards Card (issued by Citibank Retail Services) offers a small per-gallon discount or statement credit on Citgo fuel and a sign-up bonus, though a general-purpose 3-5x gas card from a major issuer will typically out-earn the closed-loop product.
