Best credit card to use at Amazon.
AmazonOnline Shopping
Amazon.com is the dominant U.S. online retailer and a category unto itself in many credit-card rewards programs. Several cards explicitly bonus on Amazon purchases (often quarterly, often tied to Prime membership), and Amazon.com always codes as online shopping for cards with that as a generic bonus category. The rule of thumb: an Amazon-specific bonus almost always beats a generic online-shopping bonus, but caps and Prime requirements can flip the math for heavy shoppers.
Picks without a tag earn at Amazon both in-store and online. Watch for theOnline onlytag — those bonuses only apply on amazon.com.
