Wells Fargo has stopped accepting new applications for the Wells Fargo Attune Card as of June 15, 2026. The product is no longer available to new cardholders.

The Attune Card carried a $0 annual fee and earned an unlimited 4% cash rewards rate across an eclectic mix of categories built around wellness, sustainability and entertainment. Its breadth was the main draw: rather than the usual groceries-and-dining lineup, the card rewarded spending such as gym memberships, fitness studios, spas and barbershops; EV charging, public transportation and secondhand stores; and a wide entertainment band covering movie theaters, live events, amusement parks, tourist attractions, pet supplies and many streaming services. Everything outside those categories earned an unlimited 1%.

That structure made the card a strong complement to a traditional everyday spending card. It also gave it some distinctive niches. Disneyland and Disney World tickets fell under the card's leisure category and earned 4%, and several streaming services qualified at 4% without the annual fee that competing streaming cards often charge.

The card launched relatively recently and leaves no direct replacement, since no single card matches its combination of wellness, green-living and entertainment bonus categories. Cardholders looking for similar value will likely need to pair category-specific cards instead.

Existing Attune cardholders are not affected by the application halt and can continue using their cards. Wells Fargo has not announced any change to terms or rewards for current accounts. The discontinuation continues a pattern of Wells Fargo periodically reshaping its cash rewards lineup, following the earlier sunsetting of cards such as the Cash Wise Visa and Propel.
