This is a simple flat-rate card: 1.5% cash back on everything, no annual fee, no foreign transaction fee, and a $250 bonus after $1,000 in purchases within three months. That bonus is generous relative to the low spending requirement, and the lack of foreign transaction fees makes it usable abroad, which not every no-fee cash back card can say. The honest catch is the earn rate itself: 1.5% flat trails the better flat-rate cash back cards, so over a full year of spending you're leaving money on the table compared with a 2% option. There are no bonus categories to make up the difference either. Worth opening for the bonus and keeping for overseas purchases, but it shouldn't be the card you default to at home.
