The business version runs the same playbook as the consumer card: 3 points per dollar on Alaska and Hawaiian Airlines purchases, 2 points per dollar on gas, EV charging, transit and shipping, and a $99 Companion Fare plus taxes and fees from $23 in any year you spend at least $6,000, which alone covers the $95 annual fee for anyone flying that network. Bank of America trimmed the signup bonus from 80,000 points to 70,000 in July, still paired with a Companion Fare and requiring $4,000 in the first 90 days. The quiet advantage for owners is that card activity does not report to personal credit bureaus, keeping the balance off your personal utilization and the account out of 5/24-style counts. The limits carry over too: everything outside those categories earns 1 point per dollar, and the free checked bag covers the cardmember rather than the whole reservation. If your business does not fly Alaska or Hawaiian with some regularity, there is little reason to pay the fee.
